Analyze this text against the following representation tests. For each test, provide a clear PASS/FAIL assessment with specific evidence:
Gender Representation Tests:
1. Bechdel Test - Are there at least two named women who talk to each other about something other than a man? (Cite specific dialogue)
2. Reverse Bechdel Test - Are there at least two named men who talk to each other about something other than a woman? (Cite specific dialogue)
3. Mako Mori Test - Does any female character have her own narrative arc that isn't about supporting a man's story? (Identify the arc)
4. Sexy Lamp Test - Could any female character be replaced with a sexy lamp without affecting the plot? (Explain their narrative function)
Character-Specific Tests (only assess if applicable characters exist):
5. Sphinx Test - How do women interact with other characters and what prominence do they have in the action?
6. DuVernay Test - Do any minority characters have fully realized lives beyond their relationship to the plot or majority characters?
7. Shukla Test - Do any two ethnic minority characters talk to each other about something other than race/ethnicity?
Format your response as:
- Test Name: PASS/FAIL - Brief explanation with specific examples
- Overall Assessment: Summary of representation strengths and weaknesses in this chapter
- Notable Patterns: Any recurring representation issues or strengths
Focus on what's actually present in the text rather than making assumptions about characters' backgrounds unless explicitly stated.
